Sailor Moon Lands New Anime Series
- July 6, 2012Show announced at 20th anniversary live event.
Japanese female idol group Momoiro Clover Z, publisher Kodansha and creator Naoko Takeuchi announced that a new Sailor Moon anime adaptation is currently in development.According to Anime News Network, Momoiro Clover Z made the announcement during a live event celebrating the 20th anniversary of the original manga. While no details have been set for a hypothetical broadcast, the staff intends to release the new anime worldwide simultaneously.
Current plans are to premiere the show sometime in Summer 2013.
